Maplebird wasn't born an explorer type- in fact not even a whisker of bravery showed through kittenhood. She always wanted to prove something to her family, not really knowing what. Her father, Nightpelt started to be cruel to her the minute she became an apprentice. He would compare Maple to other apprentices, over and over. As a result, she started to doubt that she could ever be good enough for his wishes. So what was the point in trying? Eventually, Maplepaw was able to see the light and pushed herself to become a warrior at 19 moons with the name Maplebird. "-Bird" was given as a reminder of her first kill, a bird. 


When Twilight disappeared & Dawn took over WindClan, her thinker mindset was able to form a resistance plan. It was all she could think about for a while, losing some sleep from [WIP] When Dawnstar kicked them out of their camp for a night, Maplebird was too tired to even think about anything really. Then came the [March 2021] Gathering in which only WC and ShC attended- Snaketumble [name?] lead WindClan in a fight against ShadowClan. Maplebird attacked an enemy warrior and sadly lost [she fleed before she could get anymore inguries]. All of the sudden, Twilightstar appeared [looking pretty inguired] and surprise killed Dawn. She lead them home and immediately called a clan meeting. In the meeting, Maple was promoted to a tunneler for her efforts during the ShadowClan take over.  Present day
